Offensive outburst no match as Kerens falls to Dawson

DAWSON–Six touchdowns weren’t enough for the Kerens Bocbats on the road against the Dawson Bulldogs Sept. 16.
Nehemiah Massey had three touchdowns for Kerens in the 62-41 loss Friday night.
Massey finished the night with 34 carries for 203 yards and three rushing touchdowns against the Bulldogs.
Junior quarterback Lane Lynch went 13/30 with 208 passing yards, throwing three touchdowns and one interception in the loss.
Mykel Lattimore added a touchdown on six catches for 73 yards. Muziq Gunnell had two touchdowns for the Bobcats as he finished with five catches for 91 yards receiving. 
The Bobcats finished with 518 total purpose yards but couldn’t slow down the strong Bulldogs’ offense.
The loss drops Kerens to 0-4 on the season as the play their first district game on homecoming night Sept. 23 against Itasca.
